The engineer
Josh had a problem and he built a solution. Prototype after prototype, nothing made it through unless it actually worked.
The NugNugz Story
Between four guys, a crowded flatshare, and a particular pastime in common, we faced one very consistent problem.
Where it started
Things went missing, surfaces cluttered, and every session ended the same way: "Not it. Not my problem. No thanks."
What should have been the most relieving part of the day had started to pile up and become one of the most stressful. So, like any good engineer, Josh wanted a fix.
The build
At first it was just about making his own life easier - smoke more, clean less, eradicate any and all fuss. What followed was a lot of trial and error. Too big, too complicated, all built on a fairly questionable 3D printer.
Josh had no choice but to strip things back each time. He realised a one mand band was no longer cutting it so Isaac Allen got involved.
Josh had a problem and he built a solution. Prototype after prototype, nothing made it through unless it actually worked.
Isaac Allen - equal parts flatmate and tester extraordinaire - pushed the idea through its paces, pointing out what worked and what didn't.
It didn't need to do everything. It just needed to do the right things well. That was when something clicked and a prototype became a product.
Where we're headed
High street presence. A recognised name. A new wave of the industry that feels far less corporate and a lot more human. We want to take what started between four guys and grow it without ever losing what made it work in the first place.
If it ever starts to feel too serious, too polished, or like actual work, then something's gone wrong.
In short
People who care about community. People who are happy to slow down, have a laugh, and maybe hug a tree or two along the way. We're just here to make the experience a little easier, and a lot more enjoyable.
Stoner stationery for one,
stoner stationery for all.
